Volleyball Health Protocol

Parent Drop-Off and Pick-Up

  • Volleyball staff will meet your child outside as they arrive.  Parents will drive up to the designated area to drop off and should remain in the vehicle.

  • Parents will receive a number tag to keep in their car on the first day.  The number tag will be used to identify parents each day for pick-up.

  • A hand hygiene station will be set up at the entrance of the facility, and campers must clean their hands before they enter.

  • For pick-up, parents will drive up to the designated pick-up area with their tag number displayed in the windshield.  A staff member will escort the child out to the vehicle.

Screening Campers Upon Arrival

  • All campers will have their temperature taken prior to entering the facility.  Campers who have a fever of 100.40 (38.00C) or above or other signs of illness will not be admitted to the facility.

  • Parents are encouraged to be on the alert for signs of illness in their children and to keep them home when they are sick.

  • Anyone who has been in contact with COVID-19 in the past 14 days should not attend.

Groups, activities and equipment

  • Campers will be assigned to groups of no more than 10 and will remain with the same group throughout the day.

  • Each group will be designated a court and will be the only group to use their designated area.

  • In cases where groups use the same area, only one group at a time will use the common area and steps will be taken between each group to clean high touch areas.

  • Drills and activities will be prioritized to maintain some level of social distancing

  • Any equipment that needs to be used by multiple groups will be sanitized between usage.

Water Bottles

  • All campers must bring their own water, or other liquid, to the facility.  You also have the option of purchasing liquids from the vending machines but you must have the exact change.  The water fountain, or water coolers, will not be used.

Facility Cleaning and Disinfecting

  • Campers will be given an opportunity to wash/sanitize their hands throughout the day.

  • All bathrooms will be cleaned and sanitized several times throughout the day.

  • No more than 3 campers are allowed in the bathroom at a time.

  • CDC guidance will be adhered to at all times and signage will be posted throughout the facility.

  • All equipment will be sanitized after each use, and at the end of the day.

Volleyball and SSA Staff

  • All Volleyball and SSA staff will have their temperatures taken prior to entering the facility to begin their shift.

  • All Volleyball and SSA staff are asked to stay home if they feel sick or have a temperature.
